NEW UPDATED TIME SCHEDULE!!

Mediacom and the Iowa School Speech Association are proud to announce that highlights of the Individual Events festival will begin airing on Wednesday, April 15 on Mediacom Connections.  The festival was recently held on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.

The program will air in two parts:  "2009 IA High School Individual Events Part 1" will feature the opening ceremonies and highlighted performances;  "2009 IA High School Individual Events Part 2" will feature three-and-a-half hours of selected performances from students throughout the state.

The initial broadcast dates for Part 1 are Wednesday, April 15 at 8:00 pm and Saturday, April 18th at 12:30 PM..  Part 2 will air Friday, April 17 at 6:00 PM;  Saturday, April 18 at 4:00 PM;  and Sunday, April 19 at 8:30 PM.

The programs will continue to air on Mediacom Connections throughout the spring.

Beginning April 20, Mediacom digital subscribers can view the two programs at any time using the "On Demand" feature.  Viewers should push "menu" on their remotes, choose "On Demand" from the on-screen options, then click "MediacomLocal", then "Connections22", followed by "High School Events."   Viewers can then choose "IA Individual Events 1" or "IA Individual Events 2" and the program will begin instantly.

Beginning May 1, the programs will be available for purchase on DVD through Pratt Audio/Visual of Des Moines at (515) 280-9800. This will be for Debate, LG and IE’s.
