1. Poetry Outloud
REGISTRATION is now open for Poetry Out Loud (POL) in Iowa, a dynamic arts education program that offers high school teachers a way to introduce students to poetry and creative writing. This year marks the 21st anniversary of POL, which is managed by the National Endowment for the Arts with support from the Poetry Foundation. The State Finals will take place on March 8, 2026, in Des Moines. This is a beautiful connection with the IHSSA categories of POETRY and LITERARY PROGRAM!

REGISTRATION for the FALL SYMPOSIUM on Saturday, November 1 in Fort Dodge at Iowa Central Community College. This is for specifically geared for NEW and NOVICE Fine Arts Educators! This is a FREE event!
