The IHSSA Family is exactly that---an extended family made up of students, directors, school staff, parents/guardians, alumni, businesses, and community members.
In addition to monetary donations, school contest sites depend on community and parent/guardian volunteers to efficiently manage a contest.
Contest sites are in need of timers, room chairs, greeters, food service, runners/etc. Hosting contest is a huge source of connection and pride for the entire school community. Please contact your local IHSSA speech director to volunteer! YOU are needed!
